Entity Linking

When your page mentions “Core Web Vitals,” entity linking means connecting that phrase to its canonical definition, through an internal glossary link, a Schema.org reference, or a citation to the authoritative source. This removes ambiguity for search engines and strengthens the topical map of your site.

In practice, entity linking combines internal linking discipline (every key concept resolves to one canonical page), structured data with stable @id identifiers, and consistent terminology across your content.

Sites that do this well are easier for AI systems to parse, quote, and cite, which is increasingly where high-intent discovery happens.
